| An
away team left to explore a planetoid has been captured by the phage-ravaged
Vidiians, who are seeking alien genes resistant to the disease for
incorportation into the Vidiians' own genetic structure. In one
experiment, Vidiian surgeon Sulan splits B'Elanna into two entirely
separate beings, one Klingon, the other human. B'Elanna's human
side is timid and weak compared to her powerful warrior half, who
escapes from Sulan's lab. A gamble by Chakotay pays off in rescuing
the surviving crew members from the Vidiians, but B'Elanna - despite
her desire to be free of her hot-tempered Klingon half - will die
unless she is reintegrated. |
